Kulczyk Silverstein Properties introduces Ethos to the agents. B&W balancing act

Nov 4 2015

For developers, nothing is ever only black or white. With this in mind, we eagerly threw ourselves into organising Kulczyk Silverstein Properties’ ‘Black and White’ party, which marked the start of the construction work on its exceptional Warsaw office and retail project, Ethos

The event, held in the exquisite Ufficio Primo office building in central Warsaw, proved that it is not only grey that comes in many varieties. Zebra stripes, dogtooth, spots and other black and white prints played a key role at the event, which was hosted by the ever-charming TV presenter Anna Popek. But the black and white themed party was not only about the monochromatic dress code. Greeted with drinks named after the most well-known black and white motifs, our guests – the city’s best leasing agents – were invited to dine to the accompaniment of a piano duo and to watch a presentation of the elegant Ethos complex, which is currently being redeveloped at pl. Trzech Krzyży 10/14 in Warsaw. Then the stage was taken by famous Polish cartoonist and satirist Henryk Sawka, who revealed some of his professional secrets and showed off his best artwork. Mr Sawka also awarded prizes to the top ten winners of the sketch drawing competition held after his performance. Anna Jędrzejczak of Kulczyk Silverstein Properties turned out to be best witted real estate cartoonist. This was followed by our very own edition of ‘Name That Tune’. Supported by the pianists present, our guests formed teams to battle it out by first pressing the red button and then identifying the famous tunes played. The Colliers and BNP Paribas teams made it to the final, with the former ultimately emerging victorious. The evening, full of good music and laughter, turned even more stylish as the black-and-white photography workshop began. With some instruction from invited professional photographers, our guests were encouraged to play with the light and a number of photo props. The snapshot experiment worked well, revealing previously unknown artistic talents in our real estate guests. “Ethos is another central Warsaw investment of ours which, we are sure, will become a synonym of true elegance and sophistication. The 17,000 sqm project will house not only office tenants who appreciate highly comfortable and prestigious locations, but also retail occupants interested in co-creating one of the most attractive shopping passages in this part of Europe with us,” said Maciej Zajdel, a board member of Kulczyk Silverstein Properties. The construction work on Ethos is expected to be completed in September 2016. “It is at the very heart of high-street retail in central Warsaw. Given the prestigious location, which benefits from the direct vicinity of the Warsaw Stock Exchange, the Sheraton Hotel, as well as the parliament buildings and embassies, this spot could be described as Warsaw’s luxury shopping area, where high-end brands are eager to invest to effectively improve their presence,” added Maciej Zajdel.
