Krucza House Achieves BREEAM Certification

Dec 4 2014

The Warsaw office building owned by Kulczyk Silverstein Properties (KSP) completed the multi-criteria assessment of BREEAM In-Use. Located at 24/26 Krucza Street, Warta Tower received a grade of “Very Good” for overall building category and for building management. Main tenants include companies belonging to Kulczyk Investments Group.

Beata Jońska, Head of KSP’s Property Management Team, was responsible for carrying out the certification process: This is the fourth and final building of KSP’s portfolio which received green certificate BREEAM In-Use. Environmental policies are an important priority to KSP, as such, by 2015 all of our assets will be powered by energy derived entirely from renewable sources.

The certification process was managed efficiently and relatively quickly. Through the implementation of certification rules our property managers had the opportunity to expand existing procedures for additional, pro-environmental issues. Certification also allowed for comparison between each of the buildings from the whole portfolio managed by KSP, and to identify areas for potential improvement. The results, particularly in the areas of management, provide a high level of professionalism. Noteworthy is the fact of obtaining assessment Very Good Part 1 Asset (assessment of the properties of the building) for Ufficio Primo and Krucza House – dr. engineer Marcin Gawroński, Assesor in Grontmij Polska.
