KSP’s properties powered by green energy

Nov 3 2014

Beginning in January 2015, all of the office buildings owned and managed by Kulczyk Silverstein Properties (KSP) will use energy derived entirely from renewable sources.

The transition to energy consumption from wind power is another step in implementing the KSP’s environmental strategy, which covers all of the company's real estate portfolio After obtaining BREEAM certificates for all projects, KSP’s next step will be to switch to green energy.

In 2014, KSP actively pursued property enhancements through acquiring green certificates and implementing many procedures to improve energy, media and waste management. In Warta Tower the certification process introduced rubbish selection management, which allows not only for a selective collection of recyclable waste, but also save costs associated with their exports. The detailed analysis of electricity consumption will allow for the introduction of solutions and improvements to the building, thereby securing measurable savings in the future. Currently solutions for replacing lighting and introducing energy-saving LEDs are being tested.
