For the third time fairs ART YARD SALE UFFICIO PRIMO (AYS UP), within Warsaw Museums at Night, will take place on May 18 and 19, 2013. One of a kind encounter with modern art. Kulczyk Silverstein Properties, Partner of the event, will make the space available in one of the most prestigious Polish office buildings, Ufficio Primo. The theme of this year's edition will be "Made in Poland".


An exceptional meeting of artists and buyers, unique atmosphere

On the cultural map of Poland and Europe AYS UP is an event without precedence, making it possible on one hand to experience the unique atmosphere of work of the best artists, on the other hand, the chance to buy works directly from the artists. For two days, more than 70 artists, including painters, designers, illustrators, photographers and fashion designers will relocate their labs and design studios into a newly renovated historic office building, Ufficio Primo.


 „Made in Poland”

This year, organizers will focus on the unique Polish modern art. The Main Exhibition of 30 artists, among Piotr Młodożeniec and Mieczysław Wasielewski will present the most interesting illustrations, designs and trends in applied arts. Limited edition of works of the best contemporary Polish artists, including Zbigniew Libera, Agata Bogacka or Karol Radziszewski will be presented within Art Department of AYS UP. Once again, it was taken into the curatorial care of Galeria Raster, one of the most respected galleries in this part of Europe. Visitors are invited for a journey to the stories recorded in photos by Tadeusz Rolke and Chris Niedenthal. The current and future of national fashion will present an interactive exhibition of ten brands, including: Anna Kuczyńska, Aga Prus, Anna Orska, studio UEG, Delikatessen


Aesthetic education also for the youngest

AYS is a public event with no admission tickets and no invitations. Fairs take the form of inspiring dialogue between artists and audience with spontaneous exchange of views on the presented works. Opening art to people, the organizers give authors the opportunity to personally present and sell  unique works at affordable prices. One of the key objectives of AYS is art education. During the event  lectures, meetings with authors and discussions with curators are scheduled, which will consist of the most unique guide to the world of Polish modern art.

Especially for the youngest art enthusiasts, the organizers of this year's AYS UP edition planned exhibitions dedicated to children and play area.

AYS UP 2012 was an event of international rank, which met with a great interest - more than 22,000 people came to meet artists from around the world, including Berlin, Paris, New York or Los Angeles. For three days, visitors spent more than 220 thousand PLN for small and big works of art.
